Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the L2 Essence website, game server, account systems, digital services and related community touchpoints.

By creating an account, accessing the website, logging into the server or purchasing any digital good or service, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Use together with the current Rules.

Core provisions

The provisions below are written for clarity and should be read as part of the overall service relationship between the user and L2 Essence.

1. Account access

  • Your account constitutes a personal, limited and revocable authorization to use the service.
  • No ownership right is transferred in relation to the server, accounts, characters, balances, names, digital assets or continued availability of access.
  • L2 Essence may restrict, suspend or terminate access at any time where these Terms of Use, the applicable Rules or security requirements are violated.

2. Rules and fair play

  • The published Rules form an integral part of these Terms of Use.
  • Bots, hacks, auto-play tools, unauthorized client modification, packet abuse, exploits, dupes, automation scripts and any comparable unfair method are strictly prohibited.
  • Automated anti-abuse systems may identify and sanction captcha abuse, launcher bypass, suspicious automation, HWID/IP evasion or other integrity violations.
  • A user who transgresses the Rules through cheating may lose the right to the account and any associated access, benefits or restoration request.

3. Purchases and digital goods

  • Coins, services and other digital benefits are supplied within an online live-service environment.
  • Purchases do not create ownership rights over the platform and do not confer immunity from moderation, enforcement or eligibility review.
  • Fraudulent, reversed, refunded or otherwise abusive transactions may be rejected, cancelled, removed or reversed where appropriate.

4. Account security

  • Users remain responsible for their credentials, devices, access environment and any voluntary sharing of account access.
  • L2 Essence is not responsible for losses arising from shared accounts, weak security practices or private trust arrangements between users.
  • The administration will not ordinarily request a user password through routine support interactions.

5. Enforcement

  • The administration may apply warnings, suspensions, renames, item or balance cleanups, access restrictions and permanent bans as circumstances require.
  • L2 Essence reserves the right to restrict, suspend or permanently ban any account, related account, HWID, IP, device/session or access route at any time when misconduct, abuse, cheating, evasion, fraud, security risk or rule violation is identified.
  • Enforcement may be based on staff review, logs, launcher validation, captcha enforcement, anti-abuse systems, payment/security signals or other available evidence.
  • Linked accounts, shared assets, beneficiary accounts and ban-evasion patterns may also be investigated and acted upon.
  • Not every abusive scenario can be exhaustively listed in advance, and obvious bad-faith conduct may still be sanctioned even if not described word-for-word.

6. Service changes and term updates

  • Server features, balance parameters, economy settings, website systems and related service components may change over time.
  • These Terms of Use may be amended whenever necessary for operational, legal, security or anti-abuse reasons.
  • Continued use of the website, server or related services following publication of updates constitutes acceptance of the then-current version.

7. Affiliate program terms

  • Participation in the affiliate program is subject to prior approval by L2 Essence and may be refused, limited, suspended or revoked at the administration's discretion.
  • Affiliate commissions apply only to purchases that are validly attributed under the active tracking rules and that remain completed, non-fraudulent, non-reversed and non-refunded.
  • L2 Essence may withhold, cancel or reverse commissions generated through fake traffic, self-referrals, misleading promotion, abusive incentives, chargeback behavior or any other bad-faith acquisition method.
  • Affiliates must not impersonate the project, publish false claims, misrepresent rates, promise guaranteed outcomes or promote the service through unlawful, deceptive or harmful methods.
  • Commission rates, payout thresholds, attribution logic, approved traffic channels and payout methods may be updated whenever required for operational, compliance or anti-abuse reasons.
  • Removal from the affiliate program may result in loss of unpaid or invalid commission where the administration determines that the affiliate relationship or attributed activity violated the applicable rules or terms.
