1. Bots, macros and automation
Any use of bots, scripted gameplay, hardware or software macros, auto-clickers, packet tools or methods that simulate presence or automate farming, combat, support or market behavior is forbidden.
L2 Essence is built for competitive players, but competition is not a license for botting, exploiting, harassment or bad-faith behavior. By creating an account and entering the server, you accept the rules below and the sanctions that may follow when they are broken.
These are the clearest red lines on the server. If you cross them, the expectation is strong punishment, often permanent, and not a friendly second chance.
Any use of bots, scripted gameplay, hardware or software macros, auto-clickers, packet tools or methods that simulate presence or automate farming, combat, support or market behavior is forbidden.
Using game flaws, terrain abuse, duplication methods, bypasses or unintended mechanics for advantage is forbidden. Finding a bug and hiding it while profiting from it is treated as bad-faith exploitation.
Targeted harassment, hate speech, stalking, deliberate event sabotage, real-life threats, impersonation, or any sustained behavior clearly aimed at ruining the experience of others can lead to account removal.
The rules below are written to be practical: they protect competitive integrity, account safety, trade fairness and the long-term health of the server.
Not every case receives the same sanction, but the team is free to escalate quickly when intent, severity or repeated behavior justifies it.
No rule page can list every abusive scenario in advance. If a player behaves in a way that is clearly dishonest, destructive, manipulative or harmful to the server and its community, the administration may act even if the exact behavior was not described word-for-word above.
These rules may be updated whenever the project needs it. Continuing to use the server means accepting the current version of this document.
